'Believe in Me' Talk and Q&A with Lucy Neave and Kathryn Hind

Lucy Neave will give a short talk about the forces that shaped the writing of her novel, Believe in Me (UQP, 2021), followed by a Q&A with Kathryn Hind. 

Lucy Neave is the author of the novels Believe in Me (2021) and Who We Were (2013), a Griffith Review prize-winning novella set in a horse hospital in Dubai, and short stories published in Australian and American literary journals. She has also published scholarly papers on writers’ processes and practices, and on contemporary Australian literature. She is Associate Dean, Student Experience at the ANU.

Kathryn Hind is the author of the novel Hitch, which was awarded the inaugural Penguin Literary Prize in 2018 and UK's Society of Author's Betty Trask Award. She has published essays and short stories in Australian journals and collections and is completing her PhD in creative writing and literary studies at the ANU.
